Very pleasant place to visit, the staff are very efficient and friendly. The food is always well presented and of a high standard, however, give the village stew on Thursday a miss unless you really want to know what the villagers eat.

DelightfulGreat food - fish dishes excellent. A real surprise since it looks like a bar from the street but inside is a seriously good restaurant. The bar on the street is great for beer and snacks. Staff are great too.

Strolling along we spotted this nice very clean looking restaurant and took a chance without reading a review I'm so glad we did the food was super staff very efficient we asked the waiter to choose a nice bottle of white wine for us which was lovely overall a great experience only regret it was are last night other wise we would have eaten there most nights for us it was are best meal and moderately priced

Been 4 times and truly excellent. If you book there's a 10 pc discount. The espada fish and veal on a bay skewer were superb. Nice view over the bay and very friendly.

Best espetada we had in Madeira , not to mention the Madeira wine and the poncha on the house

We never ate but the drinks were on point. friendly staff that remembered us from just our first vist. we got two cocktails (that were fare sized and had some punch to it) for 9.60. Also including a small snack and a free poncha glas for both of us. kept visiting for a drink throughout our visit in funchal.
